The 55-year-old driver was taken to an area hospital with serious injuries, Hopewell Township police said.
The tree fell on the vehicle's roof, they said.
The incident occurred at about 8:15 a.m. near Fiddlers Creek Road.
The road was reopened by about 11 a.m., according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation.
